This Sunday 8th of October is Goosefair Gallop, a 10k organised by KADS. It’ll be a great morning with toffee apples, a medal and beer in the goodie bag. I’ll also be there again in physio capacity answering questions on injuries. I’m also running another competition to win a free sports massage so pop along and say hi. Entries close today but you can enter on the day or enter the virtual run via Virtual Runner and still receive your medak To enter go to http://goosefairgallop.weebly.com/

Dont forget to include your cross training as you up your miles for those autumn half marathons. It can reduce your risk of injury by up to 50%!! KLC is a great facility for a variety of classes and advice on strength programmes from the gym instructors.

Free 10k with the National trust at Clumber park https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/events/68c8830a-0b1a-4122-b52d-b50e718cccf6/pages/details. Wow a free 10k at clumber park, take your own timing device though

Dont forget your free local 5k park run events that happen every saturday at 9 am. You have to register first but once you have a bar code you can simply turn up and run. Register here http://www.parkrun.org.uk/

Our local running club in Kimberley is KADS of which I am a proud member. It is a very friendly club and we meet on a wednesday evening at 7.15pm at Kimberley Leisure centre. Ideally you should be able to run 5k non stop.

There’s also NWR of which I am a keen supporter. Details of their vast array of running groups can be found here https://www.facebook.com/nottswomenrunners/
